How to add texture to text

I'am going to show you how I add texture to my text..I'am sure there are other ways to do it..ok so let's get started..

Go to file than new and set the width and height to 1000px and resolution to 100..

I usually like to fill in my background layer with a color I used #747270

Now go to the text tool and pick a big..thick font..I'am using "Rockwell Extra Bold" set to 150

Ok now take the magic wand(the 4th tool down) and hold shift key down and click inside all the letters there should be marching ants inside..

Ok now open the texture you would like to use inside your text..Now drag the texture to the text layer or you can just select all copy than paste into the text layer..

If you need to stretch or shorten  the texture to fit click CTRL+T and adjust.. ok Now on the texture layer right click and pick "Create Clipping Mask".. now hightlighT both text and texture layer by holding the shift button and right click merge layers..That is it!

If you want to add drop shadow or bevel it go down and click the fx button and click drop shadow and adjust to what you like..play around with all the buttons and sliders to your taste..I usually delete my background layer and save as a ps format..

                                                       My final result.....Hope this helps..

Where to get coupons

Friday, October 23, 2015

Happy Friday everyone...I hope you have some amazing plans for the weekend...I am a big fan of couponing..my daughter got me addicted so I thought I would make a list of the company's you can email or write.

I have only been doing couponing for a year so I still have lots to learn..I don't think I could be an extreme couponer I only do a little here and there..If you have any questions I will try my best to help..

 Places to get coupons:

Sunday newspaper -Walgreens is where I get mine-

COUPON CLIPPING SERVICES-I also get them through a lady she has a website Fun with Coupons(Check your local area for someone that does it)

In the stores-Many grocery stores, Walgreens, Rite Aid Video Values and even CVS (Red Coupon Machine) offer their own Store Coupons. Check your coupon policy for your grocery store because many times these store coupons can be stacked (aka “Coupon Stacking”) for additional savings. This means you would be allowed to use (1) Store Coupon AND (1) Mfg. Coupon for each item purchased (unless specified otherwise).

Facebook-Company's on facebook offer coupon you can download and print

Online Printable coupons- Coupons.com , SmartSource and RedPlum all offer a wide variety of coupons. New coupons are added throughout the month with a big reset on coupon prints at the beginning of every month. You are usually allowed to print 2 of each coupon per month.

Join some coupon forums on facebook-facebook had alot of people offering help on shows you the breakdown of how they did it on facebook forums..very helpful..

Coupon classes- Look for a coupon class in your area that also can help you get started..

I hope some of this Information will help you get started..

                -  Companies to write for coupons-

Coupon Links

                          Company Coupon Links

Go to the company's "Contact us" and write an email expressing how much you like their product make it personal tell them about your experience with the product..
and then ask about coupons and samples..It's a great way to get high value free coupons by mail and the manufacturers love to hear the great feedback about their products.

Also always read and print the the stores coupon policy..

’ll be adding new manufacturer’s as I find them...Good luck and Have a great day!!
