My husband and I bought 2 old windows frames from the flea market and turned one of them into window frame for some photos and lettering.. I didn't take photos of the before (was before I started my blog) but I will kind of walk you threw it.
The color of the window was a gray/blue I like the color and wanted to leave it but hubby didn't care much for it so we compromise...I sand some of the gray/blue paint up some and bought white and painted a coat ..let it dry..sand it a little and put another coat..
You can put as many coat as you like but I still wanted to see just a little of the gray/blue..once the paint dried I rough it up some to try to make it look old but think I will do more to it later.
added some lettering I got at Hobby Lobby and printed a few photos and there ya go! Whatcha think?
